The Anatomy of a High-Converting Product Video

Four sections, in the right order, doing four specific jobs. Once you see the structure you cannot unsee it.

Every product video that actually converts has the same four sections. The rest is styling.

1. The hook (0-2 seconds)

One line, one visual, one job: make the scroll stop. This is where 90% of the split-testing happens. If the hook fails, nothing else runs.

2. The demo (2-15 seconds)

Show the product doing the thing. Not talking about the thing — doing it. Hands, close-ups, one clear before/after.

3. The proof (15-25 seconds)

One specific credibility beat. A stat, a review, a comparison, a texture close-up. Something the viewer can point at as their reason.

4. The close (last 3 seconds)

A concrete next step and a reason to take it now. Urgency beats politeness on paid media.

That is the whole structure. Everything you have seen at the top of your For You page fits this shape.
